This blog is to find homes for a few horses. I rescue horses and frequently have more than our land can comfortably support. I want to place the horses in loving homes. Thanks for stopping by.
Arrington's Ramona aka Boo
!! SOLD !!
Arrington's Ramona is a gorgeous black registered Percheron mare with a white star on her forehead. I have her papers in hand.
Her pedigree http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/arringtons+ramona
Boo came to us in March 2011 very underweight and possibly bred. She was nursing a Dec 2010 foal which was weaned when we brought her home. Our vet floated her teeth and confirmed her pregnancy by ultrasound. She gained weight quickly and delivered a huge, healthy filly February 3, 2012. Baby Violet was weaned and went to her new home in August.
Boo has basic halter training. She leads and loads. People are still not her favorites but she is not a problem to catch or work with her. She is very food motivated, if needed. So far we haven't needed it, LOL. Boo stands calmly for the farrier every 8 weeks. No stocks needed! We expect good manners from all our horses.
Boo's stands over 17 hh. Her tail is docked. This was done long before we got her. She is sound and healthy. She is part of our herd that includes light horses, a mini horse and a donkey. Boo is boss mare but they all get along without fighting.

Great looking mare!

She really is a gorgeous girl. Her biggest fault is her docked tail. And that was a human created error.
